Life In The Cove

The Spanish Cove Newsletter is called the Spanish Cove Update & Calendar, or the Update for short, and is published monthly. We select representative articles from this newsletter and post them to the site each month to share our world with site visitors and provide another avenue of communication to our residents.

The Property Owners Association of Spanish Cove, more commonly known as P.O.A.S.C. is the non-profit business unit set up to run the Cove. We are a covenants restricted community with much common property, other real assets, and the need to handle the day to day business of running a full service community.

Spanish Cove uses two means to disseminate announcements to the residents: an e-mail announcement system and, through arrangements with the local cable company, the posting of announcements, calendar items, notices of upcoming events, and any other items of general interest or importance on the local cable channel 95. We will also be posting much of the same content here on the Spanish Cove site at this link.

Looking for some used furniture, another car, an RV, or any other items of value that someoine else might have but doesn't want? Here is where you might be able to find it. Classified ads from Spanish Cove residents are presented here just like in the newspaper. If you see something you like, give the person who posted the ad a call and make them an offer.

The Louisiana French word "lagniappe" means "a little something extra". This page fits in that category. Here you will find special links that are useful to you on a daily basis, lots of pictures of what's going on around the Cove, items of special interest to Cove members that don't fit anywhere else, and a variety of other fun, interesting, and useful things. Content will be changing all the time so check this page out often.
