Situated on beautiful Perdido Bay, the Cove Clubhouse offers a beautiful stone fireplace, comfortable chairs and tables, a full kitchen, dance floor, free WIFI Internet access, a large outdoor deck area with grill, and most importantly, a wonderful view of the bay. The Cove Clubhouse is open from 6 a.m. to midnight daily with secure, key fob access.
The Cove Clubhouse is available for property owners to reserve for private functions at no charge. In addition to private parties, this is “the” place to be on most any day or night of the week. Join with friends and neighbors in a variety of daily, weekly or monthly programs including exercise, bridge, bunco, line dancing, beading, Bible study, and yoga. Nighttime events include potlucks, poker, game night, musical jammin’ and just about anything else a person wants to start. Our Activities Department, which is part of our POASC staff structure, plans a wide variety of exciting events for residents. From frequent Lunch & Learn sessions on a range of topics of interest, to local field trips for crafts and classes, to monthly casino day trips, all the way to 7-14 day bus tours to all parts of the United States, and even international cruises! The Cove Activities Director is always planning our next adventure.
The Activities Committee, an all-volunteer group led by a member of our Board of Directors, hosts a variety of special events in the Cove Clubhouse including a Christmas Open House, Shrimp Boil, Chili Cook-off, Ice Cream Social, Craft Fair, and other exciting social get-togethers. These special events require only a modest fee or are free.
